Here's the tour to Edinburgh, with many pictures:
The first stop - just 'underneath' the South Bridge, next to Waverley Station
The first impressions in this gallery
A model of the former Marks & Spencer Building in Manchester, which was demolished after the damage caused by an IRA bomb
Some views over the city
And out of the windows
A blurry snapshot of David, our nice Spanish flatmate
A view at a part of the South Bridge, and over Waverley
Very clear at this picture - the importance of the gutters in Edinburgh; look at those during the other pictures as well!
Though you won't find one on this picture, I think - the Central Mosque, which could be seen during the previous pictures too
The interesting ceiling at the ground level of Appelton Tower. On the upper floors you have a beautiful view over Edinburgh, up to the sea, though - and you can chat over there very well!
The wonderful walkway along the River of Leith started here
And ended at the Dean Gallery - worth a visit, and even two!
The landscape sculpture in front of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art - as seen on another day - now with some relaxing people, though
My first way: down to the cafeteria, and its nice gardens
Up again
And back on my way to the city centre...
What did I say?
Pardon - I had to crunch Palmerston Place Church a bit to fit into the camera
Do you notice anything special? (have a good journey!)
Almost back home, again - a branch of the Scottisch National Library - without books, but with (quite a lot of?) maps
Proceed to the next day(s)
