Here's the tour to Edinburgh, with many pictures:

A journey to Gosford House, and North Berwick

On this saturday we went back to Edinburgh, and wanted to do an afternoon trip to some nice place... it was a hard decision - but finally we ran to get the train to the coast in the East

And arrived at: the (unofficial) entrance to Gosford House!

Some cows were sad that there was a fence between us - otherwise they would have morphed to aggressive bulls

The side entrance to Gosford House - this part of the house was opened for the public - and for GBP 5.00

The Marble Hall

Our afternoon tea was waiting

Some accessoires

A model of the house - as seen from the front

The countess likes old gentlemen

And: pictures by Rubens

An interesting pictures for all experts on damages of buildings

The 'house', as seen from the park

We made our way back!

And went with the train to North Berwick - where the weather and sight was extremly bad, fog blew over the streets... quite different to my previous time over there, isn't it?

The promenade of North Berwick(!)

And the city was still nicely dressed - for what did they do it?

Here's the answer to the mystery: highland games!

With many backpipers, young and old

And from all over the world

Back in Edinburgh; the Fringe Festival began that weekend! Here is our first street artist, with his little 'assistant'

But it was foggy even in Edinburgh, farer away from the sea... hardly you could see anything of the fireworks of the first Military Tattoo

So we decided to go to a comfortable place - 80 Queens Street, once more - the house band was playing
